Mandala Eco-Resort Brings Sustainable Investment to South Lombok

A new chapter of sustainable tourism development is taking shape in Montong Ajan as Mandala Eco-Resort moves forward with its eco-conscious resort project in South Lombok.

During a recent meeting with the Vice Regent of Central Lombok, M. Nursiah and the management of Mandala-Eco Resort discussed the progress and ongoing development challenges surrounding the investment project located in the Praya Barat Daya area.

With an investment value reaching approximately Rp 110 billion, the project reflects growing confidence in Lombok’s future as a world-class tourism destination particularly in areas that remain closely connected to nature and local culture.

Supporting Infrastructure and Local Connectivity

One of the primary topics discussed during the meeting was the condition of the village access road leading to the resort area. While development of the resort itself continues to progress, improving road accessibility has become an important priority to ensure safe and sustainable operations in the future.

As part of its long-term commitment to the surrounding community, Mandala Eco-Resort expressed its readiness to independently support the road improvement process, including preparing construction materials and coordinating closely with local authorities regarding permits and infrastructure standards.

The improvement plans are designed not only to support resort access, but also to provide lasting benefits for local residents by enhancing village mobility and maintaining environmental responsibility throughout the construction process.

Sustainable Development with Community Impact

According to the local government, the presence of Mandala Eco-Resort has been positively welcomed as part of a broader effort to encourage responsible investment in Lombok Tengah.
